P1 enrolment update

Since P1 registrations opened on 1 November, over 3,400 children have been successfully registered. Thank you all for your work on these.

Parents were asked to register between 1 and 22 November. Registrations will still come in between now and the Christmas holidays and you should register as normal as they come in.

The proposed class organisation deadline is Friday 29 November. If you have any pending or verified please ensure these are registered this week, as only children with at registered status are counted in any reports we run.

A new import of N5 pupil records was uploaded to the EPR system yesterday, so this may help with any matching issues.

There have been some queries around the matching process – if you expect a match and you cannot find the match, it is likely the pupil does not have a SEEMiS record. You can ask us to check and if we confirm there is no SEEMiS record these will be registered ‘unmatched’.

Template emails

A reminder to everyone to add your own school admin email address and update the footer with the school name, address and contact number. We are receiving a number of responses to these directly to our mailbox.

S1 allocations

We check a weekly report for P7 pupils detailing any new starts or changes, i.e. new addresses.  You don't need to tell us about these separately as we'll pick them up automatically.  In most cases we'll check against Council Tax records to confirm the address and then change the allocated school. However, we may contact you if we need some more information.

We will work through these over the next few weeks and send a new letter to the parents to confirm the allocated high school.
